“Joy of the Game” 2019

On August 17, 2019, The Clint Seymour Play Ball Fund hosted its 5th annual “Joy of the Game” non-competitive baseball tournament for fifty youngsters ages 7-9 at Clint Seymour Field in Mt. Lebanon, PA.  The participants were all guided by our motto that “Joy” is derived from “Respect and “Determination.”  Thanks once again for the Mt. Lebanon Baseball Association for co-sponsoring this event with us.  We were supported by twenty of Clint’s friends and teammates and coaches, keeping his legacy alive with contagious enthusiasm.  We are already looking forward to next year!

Our August 2nd Event at PNC Park

In cooperation with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Pirates Charities, our Clint Seymour Play Ball Fund was able to help seven BBBS “matches” enjoy a very special evening at PNC Park for the Pirates – Mets on August2, including watching batting practice “up close and personal,” taking part in an on-field pre-game experience, and presentation of a donation from our Fund to our inspiring friends at BBBS.  Our group was able to watch the game from the private box of Pirates charities.  Board member Chuck Rudek and his wife Sue (Clint’s uncle and aunt) helped to host the evening, representing our charity.  Our most sincere thanks to all involved for another successful opportunity to perpetuate Clint’s memory in such a positive way.
