Pittsburgh City Council Award Ceremony

award-ceremony-pi-010317-1-of-1Board member “Uncle Chuck” Rudek (pictured far right), accompanied by Aunt Sue, represented our charity on January 3, 2017 to accept the Proclamation of Pittsburgh City Council honoring The Clint Seymour Play Ball Fund as Big Brothers/Big Sisters “Community Partner of the Year” (together with the Carnegie Science Center) and declaring January 3, 2017 to be the “BBBS Coalition Honorees Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.  Board member Brian Seymour accepted a similar proclamation from Allegheny County Council that afternoon, from which we will post photos when available.  Thanks to the hundreds of contributors and volunteers who have made it possible for Clint’s life to be so honored.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Community Partner of the Year

bbbs-logoThe Clint Seymour Play Ball Fund is proud to announce that we will be awarded the 2016 Community Partner of the Year award by Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh.  The award will be presented at a banquet on January 10 in Pittsburgh, with more detailed information to follow. It is both humbling and re-affirming to be considered in the same company as prior award recipients such as Carlow College and Washington & Jefferson College, as well as this year’s co-recipient, The Carnegie Science Center.  Our charity has enjoyed a very rewarding relationship in making opportunities available to BBBS as an integral part of our mission fulfillment, and we will continue to do so.  Thanks to all of our loyal supporters who continue to make us Clint Proud.
